Fifteen years of technology, eCommerce, and integrations work has a way of teaching you things no course covers. Most of what I know came from being handed hard problems and figuring it out alongside the people closest to the work. That's where I tend to earn my keep.

I'm not a developer, but I build like one.
AI is a divisive subject — I was a skeptic, and I still take issue with the term itself (there's no actual intelligence behind what it does). Over time I came to see the nuance. Like any tool, it requires diligence and a clear understanding of what it's doing. You don't just drop it into a company and let it rip — you identify where it can genuinely help. We've reached a turning point, and the value is real when it's implemented with intention. That's what I'm here for.

The way hardware and software keep evolving is genuinely exciting to me, both as a learner and as someone who gets a kick out of bringing others along for the ride. Titles and roles have come and gone. The tech nerd underneath hasn't budged.

Shortly after joining VL OMNI, I found myself in front of a camera recording sales and promotion videos — not exactly my natural habitat. The production team were absolute pros and somehow made it look easy. The result: a handful of genuinely useful videos for merchants navigating the world of B2B integration.
Writing
For a brief, ambitious stretch in 2010 I fancied myself a film blogger. I wrote a handful of articles for the entertainment site Collider — and since the internet has a habit of making things disappear, I've preserved that early work here.
